Contraindications

• Patients with a cardiac pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices
• Suspected infectious diseases or conditions where heat suppression is advised
• On the carotid sinus nerves
• For pain relief of unknown origin without a diagnosed pain syndrome

• The neck or mouth, as it may cause laryngeal and pharyngeal spasms that could block the airways
• The brain or heart area, as it may cause cardiac arrhythmias
• Swollen, infected, or inflamed areas, or skin conditions (phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, etc.)
• Cancerous lesions
• While bathing, showering, or sleeping
• During activities where electrical stimulation could cause injury (driving, operating machinery, etc.)

• Only use cables, electrodes, and accessories that are compatible with the device to prevent performance issues.
• Electrodes should be cleaned with water and mild soap.
• Use a neutral conductive gel for better current transmission. Avoid air bubbles during application.
