Sonopulse 1 and 3 MHz
The Sonopulse by Ibramed is a microcontrolled therapeutic ultrasound device designed for aesthetics and physiotherapy, operating at frequencies of 1.1 MHz and 3.3 MHz. It is indicated for use in Rehabilitation, Aesthetics, and Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy.
A key feature of the device is its input for combined therapy, meaning it allows the use of therapeutic ultrasound in conjunction with electrostimulation. Simply connect the Sonopulse to an electrostimulator from the Neurodyn line.
It is recommended for treatments such as pain relief, increased local blood flow, reduction of muscle spasms, increased range of motion in contracted joints using heat combined with stretching techniques, bursitis with slight calcification, adhesive capsulitis, myositis, soft tissue injuries, capsular tension and scars, shortening of tendons post-injury and scarring, among others.
Sonopulse 1 and 3 MHz
The device is lightweight and portable, featuring an ergonomic applicator with two ERAs (Effective Radiating Areas), allowing for different frequencies and depths: an 8 cm² ERA, which reduces treatment time, and a 1 cm² ERA, for use in small areas. It has a power output of 24 W.
It includes a modern thermal system that automatically interrupts the application if the temperature exceeds 41°C, ensuring safety and reducing the risk of burns during the procedure. Additionally, another standout feature is its waterproof applicator, providing versatility in treatments.
The device features a larger graphical display (128 x 64 cm), a lighter and more portable casing, easy handling, and much simpler programming.
Sonopulse has 20 private protocols and 46 pre-programmed protocols for rehabilitation, aesthetics, and ultrasound applications.

- Presence of open wounds at the treatment site
- Over ischemic areas where blood supply may be insufficient to meet metabolic demand, potentially leading to necrosis
- Application over growing bone epiphyses
- Patients with implanted electronic devices (e.g., cardiac pacemaker, deep brain stimulator)
- Over areas previously treated with radiotherapy
- Over the gonads to prevent heating
- Application over the heart area
- Over areas of thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis, embolisms, and severe atherosclerosis
- In cases of suspected severe infectious diseases or medical conditions where heat or fever suppression is generally advised
- Over the stellate ganglion, spinal cord, and skull
- Over areas with reduced sensitivity, circulation, or anesthetized regions
